Retina and Vitreous

 

 

Dr. Herrera-Arroyo completed her training in Ophthalmology at the University of the Philippines College of Medicine-Philippine General Hospital (UPCM-PGH) and obtained her fellowship in Vitreoretinal Diseases at the Schepens Eye Research Institute of the Harvard Medical School, Massachusetts, USA.

She serves as an Associate Professor of the UP College of Medicine and as Assistant Chair for Training at the Department of Ophthalmology and Visual Sciences of the UP-PGH.  She is also the Training Officer for the Department of Ophthalmology at the Rizal Medical Center, Pasig City.   She is a leading member of the Vitreo-Retina Society of the Philippines and has served the VRSP board in various capacities.

Dr. Herrera-Arroyo is a member of the consultant staff for Vitreo-Retina Diseases at The Medical City and has served for many years as its Department of Ophthalmology’s  head of research.  She practices at the  Associated Eye Specialists and American Eye Center.
